Lesson: Your technical skills and experience make you one of the few truly qualified people in the room. But people will be suspicious as AI shills are everywhere. That only makes you more valuable. Know that. Deeply.
It is an unintentional humble-brag, but I understand AI in such a way that it is almost effortless to me. I astonish myself with what I can accomplish and the speed at which I can solution it.
The challenge here is the Dunning-Kruger effect. Its easy for me, so it must be easy. In case you have been living under a rock, Dunning-Kruger Effect “drives those who excel in a given area to think the task is simple for everyone, leading them to underestimate their abilities.“
Again, this one cuts to the core. It partly drives my desire to have to prove myself (and ramble in order to demonstrate my expertise).
So What Now?
Well, I think I just gotta cool it, and work on internalising the thing that I know, but don’t really “know”.
